My Name is Monika. Born and raised in Poland, I came to the United States in 2011 and ever since I capture the miracle of human experience. Photography started as a passion for me when my husband and I started a family and I was inspired to document our family’s story. It was so rewarding and exciting that I decided to pursue it as a career, specializing in family photography. Working for a well-known, professional family photography studio and as a newborn photographer at local hospitals, I have learned that the ideal image captures the convergence of light, moment and composition. And when everything aligns, it is perfect.
From the moment we are brought into this world, the human experience is dynamic, unique and unpredictable. I love the challenge of documenting the precious and unique moments through the camera lenses. The way I approach the art of photography is not to photograph the subjects – it is to capture the way they make me feel.
I love being the invisible companion for my clients’ biggest life moments. From engagement through wedding, from maternity and the miracle of birth to newborns and family session, I am the silent reporter covering the amazing life’s journey and the important milestones.
Currently, I work both, outdoor and indoor with natural as well as artificial light. I shoot with two cameras – Canon 5D MarkIII and Canon 7D.
I live in Frisco, TX with my husband Arek and three wonderful children: Julia (8), Adam (6) and the newest addition to our family, Milan (1).
